Frankfurt Motor Show 2017- Top cars for India

Every year dozens of cars are showcased in motor shows all over the world and the Frankfurt Motor Show is no different. Top brands display and release their car variants in the show and 2017 hasn’t been any different. The Frankfurt Motor Show is one of the most prestigious and oldest car events in the world especially for the German automobile companies like BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Porsche and Audi. This motor show is known for its mind boggling display of locomotives.

India with its huge population has a large base of new cars coming into the market every year. Automobiles all over the country release variants solely manufactured with specifications that can suit the roads and climate of the country. Many such new cars were unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017. Here are the top cars for India showcased in the motor show:

Renault Duster– Renault’s European brand Dacia unveiled the next-generation Duster at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new Duster SUV receives updated exterior and interior design. Renault has pushed the windscreen by 100mm to offer bigger cabin, and the new-generation Renault Duster looks evolved rather than a revolution. The upcoming new Duster features Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist and 4×4 monitor which comprises of a compass and notifies the driver of the vehicle’s lean angle.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Sport– Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the third generation Swift, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Sport by the end of 2017.The new Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift is redesigned with sharp styling, and the dimensional features, such as length, breadth, height and wheelbase, are also expected to be increased by few inches. Some of the new styling features that it will feature include projector headlamps, L-shaped daytime running lights and new hatchback exterior door handles. The interior fit and finish, and comfort features will also be improvised with new trims and flat bottom steering wheel, and the kerb weight will be reduced for getting better fuel economy and performance.

Hyundai Kona– Hyundai would be launching a new model Kona in the near future. The Hyundai Kona design would be based on the Hyundai Elite i20 platform with aggressive styling features and versatile interiors like Creta. The Hyundai Kona will have impressive exterior design with superior dynamics and high power engine options. The interiors with sophisticated equipment, comfort and entertainment features would make it a great option.

Bentley Continental GT– The Continental GT is the grand tourer edition manufactured by the British manufacturer Bentley since 2003. The car blends classic Bentley DNA with contemporary design and modern technology. The Continental GT looks like nothing else on the road. Its exterior styling is very classic and with the matrix radiator grille, the coupe demands respect. The headlights have been designed to incorporate a jewelry effect. And at the rear, distinctive wrap-around lights are distinguished by their signature floating LED lamps.

Honda Jazz Facelift– It’s time for the Jazz’s mid-life refresh, so Honda’s expected to be taking one to Frankfurt. The hatchback was revealed officially before its public debut and will be offered in Europe with a new 130hp, 1.5-liter petrol engine along with the existing 102hp, 1.3-litre motor.

Audi A8– Elegant design, sumptuous quality, advanced lightweight construction and an abundance of high-end gadgets exemplify Audi’s flagship offering – the A8. Premium features on the new A8L include ventilation and massage functions for the seats, Adaptive air suspension with Audi drive select as standard, Bang & Olufsen Surround sound system, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, among others.
