Tata Tiago Vs Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Compare Tiago Vs Celerio

The all new Tiago is a peppy car from the house of our very own car maker Tata Motors Ltd. The new Tata Tiago has been given a young and innovative look that enhances the car dynamics to deliver great driving pleasure. Tata Tiago is the first car that is designed with the ‘impact’ philosophy which aims to create an immediate impact at the first look at the car, which promises to be the lasting impact.

Tiago is styled in a way that is entirely different from all the other cars that we have seen so far from the house of Tata. It no way bears any resemblance to any of the existing Tata models. This car has been given good proportions which make it look quite pleasant.

The interiors are very plush and comfortable, just like any of its competitor premium hatchback models. Adding to that, the console at the centre comes with the Harman infotainment system with additional features like Bluetooth and aux-in connectivity to sync with smart phones. Tiago is quite generous on space with decent leg space and shoulder space and an amazing boot space of 240 litre.

Driving the Tiago are the newly developed twin 3 cylinder engines – the 1.2 Litre Revotron petrol and the 1.05 Revotorq diesel engines, which deliver great fuel efficiency with the petrol engine returning 17.2 kmpl and 18.8 kmpl by the diesel engine on city roads. Tata Tiago comes with smooth and easy controls making for a high class driving experience. The Tata Tiago price starts at 3.51 lakh and goes up to 6.10 lakh in Delhi. Also, it has a good audience review.

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is one of those hatchback cars, which are the most popular in India. When the Celerio was released by Maruti Suzuki, it had received overwhelming response due to its AMT gearbox. Later on the diesel model of this car was released, which was another first in its segment, for being the lightest diesel engine in our country.
