Exteriors & Dimensions

The Volvo XC60 has a wheelbase of 112.8inch, which is 4.7-inches shorter than its elder sibling XC90. However, it is still 3.9-inch longer than the predecessor model, which benefits the rear-seat leg space. The Volvo XC60 sports a muscular design and aesthetics, which redefines Volvo’s styling language.

On its front, the T-shaped LED lights together with a wide grille carrying Volvo’s look give the XC60 a muscular look. The fog lamps coupled with LED DRLs and well-designed bumpers are well placed. On the rear, the intricate headlights, bumper with chrome highlighted exhaust nozzles and the Volvo brand name engraved with chrome is just great. It won’t be wrong to say that the Volvo XC60 is one of the best-looking SUVs we have today.

Interiors & Cabin Space

The Volvo XC60’s interior design and finish quality is best in class. Overall, it is highly inspired from the XC90 in terms of interiors. However, the detailed dashboard in XC90 is much better than the found here. It is a well-planned dashboard coupled with one of the most advanced infotainment systems available today. There is also a 12.3-inch instrument cluster offering easy access to various control and convenience options.

The Volvo XC60 doesn’t compromise with passenger’s safety, convenience and comfort at any part. There is plenty of space everywhere; knee room, legroom, headroom, also the front seats are mounted high to offer an extra comfort to the passengers. The Volvo XC60 is an undoubted winner in its segment for cabin space and passenger’s comfort.

Every big and small feature available on the XC60’s will offer you a luxurious experience. The front seats are 10-way power adjustable massaging chairs, which are very comfortable and top of the class. The rear seats are comfortable too with optional heating elements; although they miss recline adjustment feature.

Engine & Power

The Volvo XC60 will be available with a wide range of engine options across the globe. These include the T8 Twin petrol plug-in hybrid churning 412bhp power, the 315bhp T6 petrol engine, and the250bhp T5 petrol engine. There are two diesel engines too; the 187bhp D4 and 231bhp D5 diesel engine supported with PowerPulse technology.

Safety Features

Talking about the safety, the Volvo XC60 is currently one of the safest SUVs available across the globe. The Volvo XC60 is added with a host of advanced safety features, which include Volvo’s Oncoming Lane Mitigation and the Blind Spot Indication System (BSIS). This advanced feature will warn the driver if there is any vehicle or object present in the blind spot, which cannot be seen or visible through the outside rear view mirror.

Also, it would steer the vehicle if required. The automatic steering functionality would avoid a head-on collision situation. Also present is the Volvo’s very own Pilot Assist or semi-autonomous driving system that can steer, accelerate or stop the car on marked roads at speeds of up to 130kmph.
