Nissan Micra CVT Prices Reduced

Japanese auto major Nissan has reduced the costs of its model the Micra CVT hatchback in India after the company increased the localisation of the car model. Nissan Micra, which has been launched on Indian roads since 2010, is being produced locally at the company’s Oragadam unit in Chennai.

The Micra CVT Automatic XL model now comes with a price tag of INR 5.99 lakh, while the Micra Automatic CVT XV variant is being offered with a price tag of INR 6.73 lakh. The Micra CVT XL experienced a price cut of Rs. 54,252 from its earlier cost of Rs. 6.53 lakh and the Micra CVT XV’s cost has been slashed by Rs. 45,713 from Rs 7.19 lakh.

The Micra from the house of Nissan is driven by the X-TRONIC CVT automatic transmission system and it claims to deliver a mileage of around 19.34 kmpl. The Nissan Micra CVT is powered by a 1.2 litre 3-cylinder petrol motor that is tuned to produce power of 75PS and 104 Nm of peak torque. Some of the other features of the Micra include smart key with engine start stop push button, steering mounted audio controls, rear LED lights, follow-me-home head lights and automatic air conditioning controls. In terms of safety, the Nissan Micra comes with SRS Dual Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).
